Happy Belated Fourth of JULY!!!
Wow what a crazy week I had. Being it was the fourth I had two concerts last week. We performed Wed and Thursday. It was awesome. We had a packed crowd both nights and when we played Salute to the Armed Forces I had hard time playing as each group of men stood proud of their division. I just thought about when my dad always stands at attention during SEMPER FI ( marine corps song) and now my other two brothers Steven and Billy. Billy has been to Iraq and back and Steven goes shortly.
I was in Houston last week for Jess Rohm and her Pro Debut at the Houston Pro. She looked her best ever and I was so proud. Now I have helped many people, but Jess is the only one I never get too worried about. She is the most disciplined person I have ever worked with. So I was very proud of her. She took 16th out of 25 but it was among some amazing women. So Im proud...now its wedding focus 100%. She gets married in August and we have the shower and bachelorette party between now and then....Im the maid of honor. Ever see the movie 27 dresses? Its a story about me:)
I have to also say TRACEY GREENWOOD ( who won ) looked awesome and definately looked like she was having a good time. LOL And Shannon Metraud who took second, coming back into fitness from figure made an impressive comeback. I also have to say Maggie and I can't spell her last name ....LOL who made Jess's suits ....did awesome too . It was nice to have dinner with Jess, JOn, Jess's Mom, Jons Mom and Maggie and Her Husband after teh show. While we were there this monster of a bodybuilder came in and sat at the end of our table. I have no clue who he was ...but WOAH! I even saw Ronnie Coleman as we left the restaurant.
This weekend Ill be at the Georgia State Championships to watch Dan Newmeyer Compete. I expect him to do well. He just won the overall at the Gadston show three weeks ago.
So thats the update!!!
